Our Story
Welcome to Moonlight Schools
The idea of Moonlight Schools came into existence as a community initiative in 2012, set up to provide accessible quality education in Mogadishu. First funded by founding members, then supported by the parents who brought their children to us, the school grew into a place where dreams are nurtured, talents discovered and young futures shaped , reflecting our community’s values of unity, generosity and the pursuit of Ilmi (knowledge).

First Form 4 cohort graduates, a stream of 11 students
2024/25
11th cohort completes secondary, 644 graduates to date
